The Polish premiere of Luciano Berio's Thema. Ommagrio a Joyce for voice and tape at the 5th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the American mezzo-soprano Cathy Berberian on 21 September 1961 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Hall. Polish Records were in charge of sound projection.
