The Polish premiere of Franco Donatoni's For Grilly. Improvvisazione per 7 at the 6th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.


The work was performed by the Melos Ensemble under the direction of Bruno Maderna on 18 September 1962 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.


Ensemble members: Emanuel Horwitz (violin), Ivor McMahon (violin), Cecil Aronowitz (viola), Terence Weil (cello), Adrian Beers (double bass), Richard Adeney (flute), Peter Graeme (oboe), Garvase de Peyer (clarinet), William Waterhouse (bassoon), Neill Sanders (horn), Osian Ellis (harp), Lamar Crowson (piano).
