Description

The Polish premiere of Luigi Nono's Sul ponte di Hiroshima: Canti di vita ed-amore for soprano, tenor and orchestra at the 7th Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.

The piece was performed by Halina Łukomska (soprano), Eric Tappy (tenor) and the Silesian State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Karol Stryja on 24 September 1963 at the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall.

It is composed of three movements:

  1. Sul ponte di Hiroshma;
  2. Sjamila Boupacha;
  3. Tu.
