George Crumb's Music for Summer Evening (Makrocosmos III) for two amplified pianos and two percussionists performed by Szabolcs Esztenyi, Jerzy Witkowski (piano), Stanisław Skoczyński and Bogdan Lauks (percussion).


The Polish premiere of the work took place on 23 September 1977 at the Concert Hall of the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw as part of the 21st Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
