Tomasz Sikorski's Sickness until Death for reciter, 2 pianos, 4 trumpets and 4 horns performed by Zbigniew Zapasiewicz (recitation) and a brass ensemble conducted by the composer at the piano.


The world premiere of the work took place on 24 September 1977 at the Concert Hall of the State Higher School of Music in Warsaw as part of the 21st Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music.
